Work for the benefit of the patient, who is in the weaker position and feels pain, and you are in the stronger position, so do not take an advantage over him/her. you have the right to make your living, being a doctor is a job, and that's why you went to medical school and worked hard for the job, but don't use the patient, and either make him/her either hungry or still ill, and offcourse hide their privacy, and pride. respect their believes. Don't cheat and claim another position, he/she has got the right to know your real identity. say other options of managment even if not avaliable in the place where you work, honestly. then pateints will trust you. Finally stay up-todate with new advances in medicine. don't be lazy, nor give up saying i do not have the capabilities to do or practice this. at least be informed as you might refere the sick to another hospital which have the facility or at least not look low and ignorant infront of patient, and use what is useful from new guide lines and avaliable & suites the individual person
